Legislative Alerts

The following are examples of Legislative Alerts which will be sent to subscribers of the CEF Alert Service [subscribe here].

While many organizations cover some aspect of clean energy, CEF provides alerts and explanations of upcoming issues considered by the US Congress, Federal Agencies and Regulators. Simple to understand, blunt guidance on what you can do and who are the pressure points across the spectrum of energy efficiency and renewable energy.

House Swing Votes
Written by Scott Sklar
December 04, 2007

The vote on the Energy Bill is Thursday or Friday. This morning, you must call any Member in your State - local office first, and Washington office too. "Pass the Energy Bill for clean energy for my company in your state". The attached is a list of those moderate Rs that voted in favor of the house energy bill. Please make calls to these offices and ask them to continue to support the energy bill on the floor tomorrow. We need every vote.

My recent Renewable Energy Access article outlines the clean energy provisions in the Bill: RE Access article – Energy Bill 12

Note: If you have Board Members, investors, family, employees, distributors in these States - please have them call too. If you need phone or fax numbers - please go on this url: http://directory.usayfoundation.org/index.php?state=AR
